Names of those with duplicated IDs made public
The Department of Home Affairs has made public the names of 29 000 people who share their ID number with someone else - in a bid to assist those with duplicated IDs.

School children caught on video damaging two police vehicles at Cosmo City Secondary School, could face criminal charges.
The Basic Education Department said it will let the law take its course.
There were cheers and whistles as pupils in their school uniform vandalised the clearly marked police vans, while the officers were trying to disperse an angry mob only metres away.
The windows were shattered with stones and the doors ripped off.

There is no denying the fact that the power failures seems to be a recurrent problem and all the measures put in place by Eskom, as promised to remedy the situation seem not to be working. But I want to assure all that as a Committee for Ext 0 are on top of things.

Despite a go slow by workers, Pikitup is working hard to collect refuse from its customers. The north and west parts of Joburg are worst affected.
